  • AGC Food Pantry

Loving Like Christ, Meeting Basic Needs

Our benevolence ministry is based on Jesus' teaching in Matthew 25:35-36, "I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I needed clothes and you clothed me."

We love people with the love of Christ when we help the needy with things like food, clothing, and other necessities of life.

Contact Brittney Clukey, Coordinator, for more information and ways you can get involved at bannc19@yahoo.com

  • Jail and Prison Ministry

    Courage to Change Ministries

Have you ever asked yourself what happens to the person who disappears into jail or prison? Do we really believe God can change the inner direction of a person's life regardless of their crime or addiction? The incarcerated are men, women, and sometimes children. They love, cry, fear, and hope.

Azalea Garden Church is committed to fulfilling the Great Commmision found in Mark 16:15, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." This command also includes the incarcerated. The life-changing message of Jesus Christ is proclaimed to the men and women whom the world has said could never change.

It is a privalege to be allowed to minster inside our area jails the good news of Jesus Christ. Not everyone feels called to minister inside the walls of a prison but there are other ways you can be involved. You can pray, donate soft cover Bibles, Christian magazines, and more.

If you would like to know how to be involved, contact Pat Orlestsky at orletsky1@gmail.com.

  • Nursing Home Ministry

    Brightening the Day of Seniors

The nursing home ministry at AGC seeks to bring words of love and encouragement to the nursing homes and senior citizens of our community. Everyone needs to know that they are loved. In our world today it is easy to forget those who need assistance in caring for themselves. Often these folks feel abandoned by the world and their families. They feel lonely, hopeless, and often forgotten.

Our goal is to bring encouragement, laughter, and support to the elderly with regular visits by caring Christians. The nursing home ministry is one of the most rewarding ministries you can be involved in.

Would you consider sharing you gifts, talents, and time in a nursing home environment with the elderly? If so contact Pat Orletsky at orletsky1@gmail.com.
