We are a praying church. The Prayer Center is one of the most used rooms in our church facility. It is a special room that is open for anyone to come in and pray, and there are various stations around the room where people can pray for the missionaries we support, the church staff, government officials, etc.
In Phillippians 4:6, we are encouraged to "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." God doesn't want us to be anxious or let life's problems take our peace and joy. Instead, He wants us to talk with Him about all our concerns. When we sincerely make our requests known to God, He delights in helping us.
